Clothing for women in winter
The seasons clothing isn’t proscribed to jackets and shrugs but reaches to head gear, boots, accessories. Much is left to explore in cosmetic areas of hair and skin. A total look is crucial to chase the
winter blues, if any. The look of the season is come-back fashion of yesteryears and a mix of modern yet regal looks.
Fiery reds, forest greens and browns, rust coloured orange or common greys the winter collection changes every year. Pea coats, capes and knee length coat dictate this year’s trend. Assertive trends can be adopted in plaid designed overcoats with a long muffler hanging loose, Ponchos for the casual wear, Jackets for the tricky look and female designs in cashmere and cardigans. Headband tying is a skill and a robbed can grace a garb. Necklines have lots of designs be it V necks, polos, open collars and lace collars. Comfort is vital with breathe-easy inner lining / layers. Body stretch materials are female. Zip T shirts in wool patterns give the ideal look. Caps are stylized e.g. Isle Hat, tassels in the final analysis, platted designs, ear flaps, poppy hats and camel hair hats.
The idea is to execute the look without compromising on the comfort. Fancy gloves are mandatory and well built to accentuate feminine fingers. Knitwear stays forever in fashion. This year saw lots of leggings and short mini skirts in leather grouped with voluminous long jackets. For aviation mavens the design should be wind resistant and light weight too. Visitors to polar expeditions have to have polar boots offering powerful, steady grip, water resistant gear for softening snow or surprising snowstorms. Goggles and Head gear are mandatory accessories. The genuine trick is in the fit and capability to hold it. Be it the grunge looks with heavy denims, tweed jackets or roadie boots with headband the style must be experimented.
Teaming Jeans, a cropped jacket and pumps is not such an awful concept. Ladies winter coats are also available with a comfortable and warm fabric. Coupled with an ideal hairstyle and bold make up, one can melt the snow. With such a big selection and more recent designs of sweater dress each season one realizes that FUR isn’t at all obligatory.
